Hello Nana.  Welcome.  It’s wonderful to have you visit today. Thanks for this chance to find out more about you.  To start, how about telling us about your current release.

Sultry in Stilettos is the second in my In Stilettos series.  It stars best friends Ricca Munroe and Becket Mills, who just can’t seem to get it together.

 

Shy, Fantasy Event Planner, Ricca Munroe has never been lucky in love, so when the latest in a long line of Mr. Oh So Wrongs publicly dumps her, she focuses on her career. All she has to do to land the job of a lifetime is work side-by-side with the one man who can break her heart.


Beckett Mills has never been in love. Personal entanglements are a recipe for disaster—that is until one kiss from Ricca Munroe changes everything. Beckett needs this job to fulfill a promise he made. All he has to do is resist the seductive charms of his best friend.


Can Ricca come out of her shell to land her dream job and the love of her life? Can Beckett trust himself enough to actually fall in love and still keep the promise he made?

Has someone helped or mentored you in your writing career?

Oh my gosh yes.  I maintain that I would never have made it as a writer if the fabulous Misty Evans hadn’t taken a liking to me and helped me with my first book.  I tortured her, that poor woman.  Without her I would not be writing today.

Who is your favorite author?
 

Right now it’s Sylvia Day.  Her Crossfire series is fantastic!


What was your first sale as an author?

 Game, Set, Match back in August 2010.  The Fantastic Val Hatfield plucked me out of a slush pile for the Wild Rose Press.


How do you describe your writing style?

I’d describe it as Sassy chick lit with heat.  My characters are funny and have flaws and most of all aren’t afraid to laugh at them.


What was the scariest moment of your life?

The first time I held my daughter.  I knew in that moment I was responsible for someone else.  That I could do some great things with her and also mess up royally.  Any new parent knows that that’s a terrifying moment.  After that, the first time I went on a flying lesson with my hubby.  I thought he was gonna kill us.  (Sorry babes, but it’s true.)

Where do you dream of traveling to and why?

Anywhere tropical is on my list, probably because tropical locales remind me of home (Ghana – West Africa)  Foremost on my list are Tahiti and Mauritius.

 

What would we find under your bed?

 

Erm, Dustbunnies, A knife in case anyone ever breaks in and I have to go all Buffy on their asses, A stack of books, and a unopened box for a B.O.B. I swore I’d try out and never got around to ;)

Nana's love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen.
