Mr. Breeze by Morrie Richfield with Kindle Fire HD: Character Interview PUYB Promo Tour)

MR. BREEZE (the title is inspired by a song by the rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd) follows the increasingly amazing experiences of freelance photojournalist Michael Ryan as he hears of stories about a man named Zack, who can seemingly perform inhuman feats that could be called miraculous. Ryan eventually meets Zack and becomes, at Zack’s insistence, Zack’s messenger. Along the way, a dog named Rover, who also possesses otherworldly powers, joins Zack and Ryan in their adventures, which include a remarkable visit to the Centers for Disease Control, in Atlanta, in search of a cure for AIDS.

The secret of who Zack is and why he has chosen Ryan to tell his story to the world forms the surprising and moving climax to the book.

And there is a MR. BREEZE sequel in the works, Richfield notes. The working title is REVELATION:  THE RETURN OF MR. BREEZE. “The second book is about how we take that message (from the first book) and what we do with it.”

In the meantime, Richfield hopes that readers of MR. BREEZE find the storytelling compelling. I also would like them to be entertained and to want to tell others about it. If they come away wanting to be a better human being, that would be a huge plus.”

Today I'm very honored to have a special guest with me.  Michael Ryan, the protagonist from Morrie Richfield’s new novel‘Mr. Breeze’.  So let's find out more about Mr. Ryan right now!

Who is you favorite author?

Sort of a trick question if I do not say Morrie Richfield, I’m screwed in the sequel!

So true But I had to ask, you know.  As a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

Walter Cronkite, but it turned out I had a great nose for the story but didn't have the voice a network anchor needs. It turned out okay, though, as I ended up an award winning journalist.

See!  Just goes to show! And Congratulations, too.  What is your favorite meal?

A strip steak at Morton’s in Georgetown wish a side of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach.

Yummmm....well, except for the creamed spinach.  Who should play you in a film?

Funny you should ask that I’ve been thinking hard about that and I think Russell Crowe would be the best choice, and there will be a movie, I’m sure about that.

I have no doubt!  Until then, What's  the next big thing?

The sequel to Mr. Breeze, Revelation will be out early next year. I am told I get some great lines in this one.

Super....see how plugging your author's prowess pays off? lol  Do your friends think you are an introvert or an extrovert? Why?

My friends think I am a extrovert and a narcissistic pain in the ass that never shuts up and never gives up when he smells a good story.

Oh ummm...well... I'm sure that must be a bit of an exaggeration. right?  I think we'll stop now.  Thanks for stopping by and I'm looking forward to seeing you in the sequel!

I try to make the world a better place by small gestures of kindness. Letting people in when driving, letting someone who has a few things go in front of me in the line at the store, opening a door for someone, etc.

I try to do the right thing as I was taught by my parents. Simple things like please, thank you, don't lie, help others with whatever, PRAY, vote for the right person not the party they represent. Most of all just love each other for who they are not what they are. Love animals, love life.
( Squirrelqueen2001 isn't there so since I follow Squirrelqueen1 and saw that she is also following this tour I used her for the follow. I hope I'm correct). Thanks so much for such a generous giveaway. ;-)
